My Story

My name is Nora Claire Sacks. I am known for my big laugh, devotion to beauty, caring heart, and sharp clarity. I have always loved and been deeply fascinated by people.

I began working with food as medicine in 2009, and my passion for herbal medicine followed shortly thereafter. In 2015, I was introduced to ceremonial work with master plants, and I have continued on the plant medicine path ever since. Amid this deeply relational and personal work, I had a ten-year career as an experience designer and international event producer, working with notable private clients and companies alike.

My path has been marked by crisis, initiation, and healing. Experience with invisible illness, the subsequent years of treatment, and a near-death car accident were opportunities for me to learn to surrender, trust, and enjoy the ride (or attempt to).

Today, I am an Integrative Guide, Mentor, and Ceremonialist who weaves earth-honoring practices with psychology and somatics. The desire to bridge ancient wisdom with modern knowledge led me to AWE: Ecstatic Mysticism, a radical and profound initiatory program where I am completing an MA degree in Integrative Psychedelic Therapy. My additional studies in communication, somatics, parts work, and biodynamic craniosacral therapy all inform my mentorship and ceremonial offerings. 

I have had the honor of learning from teachers and elders in North and South America, and my mindfulness practice is rooted in Eastern Buddhist and Tantric philosophies.

We exist within a web of relations. We are in relation with all that is around us, seen and unseen, and our relationships are the foundation of our health. To be in relation with the full depths of the beauty and pain that exists here on this planet at this time is a tall undertaking and requires building a strong foundation. For people who have experienced trauma, establishing this foundation can be even more challenging. When you come into relationship and build trust in yourself, your body, your feelings, and your sensations, you have greater ease in your life and in communicating what you desire. Life itself is a miracle. This work I do is in service to life. It is both for humankind and in honor of the earth and all of our relations.
