My intention in this life is to walk with clarity, act with integrity, and always remain curious.
My Story
On a cold winter morning, moments after the smooth arrival of my identical twin sister, I attempted to make my Earthside entrance upside down and backwards. Ten minutes later, with a face the color of a sun-ripened blueberry, a strong spark of fire in my heart, and two tiny fists demanding to break free from the confines of the societal narratives at hand, I had arrived, ready to dream a beautiful life.
I spent my formative years with bare, sun-kissed feet on the soft earth and sticky cement streets of the small suburb where I grew up. I climbed trees, spent afternoons fishing, and played make-believe in the woodlands of what is now known as the Connecticut River Valley. Outdoors is where I felt most at ease, and in greater connection with myself and life.
In 2010, after my freshman year in college, I began working with food as medicine. I quickly found my way to herbal medicine, and five years later, I began immersing myself in ceremonial work with master plants, a path I continue today.
Crisis, initiation, and healing. Through invisible illness, the subsequent years of treatment, and a near-death car accident, I was granted opportunities to practice surrender, trust, and enjoyment alongside challenge; sometimes gracefully and other times grasping painfully to unhelpful habits, substances, and people.
or the last decade, I have honed my expertise in dancing with chaos in my career as an event designer and producer, working with notable private clients and companies alike. All along the way, I have been studying—permaculture, poetry, herbalism, language, song, ceremony, the mysteries of this Great Mystery.
I see myself as contemplative, intense, funny, sharp, curious, compassionate, and steady. There is no doubt about it, I have always beat to the rhythm of my own drum. If those who knew me in my childhood knew what I was up to now, they’d say, “Yeah, that checks out.”
I walk with a strong sense of kinship to my recent blood ancestors—those who immigrated to what is now known as the United States (Turtle Island). On my father's side, I am of Ashkenazi descent by way of what is now Belarus, Romania, and Poland. On my mother’s side, I am a first-generation Irish American. These roots and my ancestors guide and ground me in the healing work I share.
I am here learning to ride the waves; expanding and contracting within the container of this magical, mysterious, beautiful, painful, humanness. It would be an honor to support you as you do the same
